“Tilden” is a visual remembrance of one of the most grounding and formative places in my life—Tilden Regional Park, and more specifically, a quiet cove by Lake Anza that held my childhood in its stillness. Framed by trees that once towered over my younger self, this painting captures a view I returned to countless times—a hidden spot that became a personal sanctuary, a place to feel small in the best way.
